PO-80 record factory is a compact and portable record cutter, made in collaboration with yuri suzuki. engrave and playback 5" discs with ultra-analog lo-fi sound - simply plug in any audio device to the 3.5 mm audio input and cut your own record in an instant. yep, it’s really that simple.

Ultra lo-fi dreams

Experience the warmth of lo-fi audio. playback your unique cuts and give your favorite 7" records new life with ultra-analog sound quality. the built-in speakers allow you to listen directly from your PO-80, or connect an external speaker through the 3.5 mm audio plug.

Do-it-yourself

PO-80 record factory comes as a diy kit with simple assembly instructions. it includes everything you need to create your records: a cutting arm with a stylus that engraves sound onto the 5” vinyl discs, a tonearm for playback, as well as paper sleeves and center label stickers. a carry bag is also available (sold separately), as well as a record pack, and cutter head.

About the collaboration

Teenage Engineering met japanese designer and sound artist yuri suzuki 10 years ago while he was freelancing at their studio in stockholm. from the beginning, they shared a passion for playful music gadgets. after yuri created the popular ez record maker with gakken. teenage engineering and yuri joined forces and created a new version, with the pocket operator mentality and an updated design. now everyone can start creating their own records at home, with the PO-80 record factory.

We process ready-to-ship orders daily, Monday-Friday, and dispatch most orders from Christchurch, New Zealand, within 1-3 working days.

If the product/s are in our inventory, we aim to have them ready for dispatch within 48 hours of receiving your order. If a product/s is not in stock, we will order the item into a store or dispatch the item directly to you from the manufacturer/supplier.

Once your order is with our courier partners, New Zealand-wide deliveries typically take overnight in some areas or between 3 – 10 working days following dispatch.

You will receive a dispatch email with tracking details as soon as your order has been processed. Please note: if you have ordered multiple items, your order may be sent in separate installments (due to stock levels and availability).
